ABOUT DR. V

Dr. Yael Varnado, or "Dr. V" as patients warmly call her, has garnered the respect of peers, patients, and the public with her rare blend of clinical expertise and down-to-earth compassion. Known for her personal and open approach to medicine, Dr. V’s judgment-free style creates a safe space for everyone.

As a highly regarded board-certified physician, Dr. V has almost two decades of experience and is a regular expert in the media, appearing as a regular guest on The Dr. Oz Show, the Today Show,CNN, and more. Dr. V’s true passion lies in helping others and educating the community in every way she can. To do so, she founded Get Checked for Life, Inc., a 501c(3) organization that provides at-risk and underserved communities across the nation with access to health services.

A NOTE FROM DR. V

"Years ago, I started making products in my kitchen for my babies. As a toddler my son had eczema and as I searched the aisles for something to soothe his skin, I found that even in the ‘gentlest’ of baby products, every other ingredient was one I couldn’t spell that was concocted in a lab.
